An Extraordinary meeting of the Parish Council was held at The Environment Centre, Stibbington on Wednesday, 2nd February 2011 at7.30pm.

- No members of the public were present
The Chairman, Cllr Gatheral opened the meeting, at7.30pm.

| 119 | Declaration of Interest in Business to be Transacted – to receive declarations of interest – person and/or prejudicial and the nature of those interests relating to items on the agenda.
All declared an interest. |

| At this point in the meeting the chairman welcomed Wendy Gray as Parish Clerk to Sibson-cum-Stibbington Parish Council.

| 120 | The wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton – the purpose of the meeting was to ascertain if the Parish Council would be prepared to help towards the costs of road closures.
A streetparty is being planned for the village to celebrate the Royal Wedding on the 29th April which will mean the closure of certain roads in and around the village. The cost of this will be £815 plus VAT. The cost will cover the closure of designated roads, having the necessary road signs put in place and necessary diversions set up together with the manpower to control and the removal of signs etc afterwards (Road Services Limited).
Cllr Gatheral proposed that the Parish Council would pay the cost of £815 plus VAT, seconded by Cllr Bradshaw, all other councillors in agreement.
The Parish Council would notify the adjacent Parish Councils of plans and an article would be placed in “Living Villages”.
The meeting closed at7.40 p.m.
