The meeting of the Parish Council was held at The Environment Centre, Stibbington on Wednesday, 21st July 2010 at 7.30pm.

Councillors were in attendance from 7.30pm having already conducted at site visit re item 57.1.1.

No members of the public attended the meeting

57.2.1 0800077ENLBCA – 18 Elton Road Wansford – property for sale and to let. Planning enforcement team are aware.
57.2.2 0800224ENUDOM – 5 Church Lane Stibbington. Planning dept to be invited to a meeting to discuss this and other enforcement cases.
57.2.3 0900057ENENC – 1 Chapel Court Wansford. Case now closed.
57.2.4 1000108ENADV – A1 Service Station Gt North Rd Stibbington. Sign appears to have been removed.
57.2.5 1000145ENUDOM – 21 Church Lane Stibbington. Information only
57.2.6 0900144ENLBCA – 22 Elton Rd Wansford. Case now closed.
58 Update on street lighting – Cllr A CoeCllr Coe has been in contact with the area street lighting engineer who has agreed to survey all the street lights owned by the parish council. Has also checked on all the poles and brackets. Some need painting and some have signs of corrosion but none appear to need to be urgently removed/replaced. Trying to get hold of BT and EDF Energy to see if any of the existing poles are likely to be removed as was the case on Elton Rd last year. One pole and light now redundant and could be used as a spare.

Maintenance contract is with CCC.

59 Update on A1 retaining wall Gt North Rd Stibbington – Cllr A Coe Cllr Coe met with a representative from Atkins, who have the contract for Highways maintenance. Agreed that the wall was in need of repair including the crash barrier which no longer conforms to current safety standards. Some of the work quite urgent. Atkins to keep parish council informed of any action to be taken.
